I'm happy. I only do things w/people that I truly care about. I think the best thing anyone can give anyone is time. I need lots of attention. I want, what I want, when I want it. I'm impatient. I'm a soccer-mom in training.
I follow my passions and believe if you want something and put your heart and soul into it, you can achieve it. No one is going to give you everything ~ you have to earn it. Sometimes, we all need a little help from our friends... So, if I can motivate you to take a chance, follow your dreams, and/or at a minimum just laugh, then my writing will all be worth it!
I also use this blog to showcase my photography. Therefore, the photos used in this blog were taken by me (i.e. unless I attributed photo credit to someone else). I don't "right-click" and steal other peoples' images. Of course, if the picture IS of me, and it's not a self-portrait, then someone else took it.
I think most people (inadvertently and unintentionally) limit THEMSELVES. Some people automatically assume things are unattainable and therefore don't even "reach" for what they want. No one is going to GIVE you EVERYTHING. You have to go out and do it yourself and (sometimes just) ask for what you want in order to get it. If you never took the initiative, made the call, asked the question, or put forth the effort - then only YOU are responsible for not getting what you want.
Life's not fair. I'm lucky and I work hard to do the things I want. I hustle. I love my family and friends and go out often. I travel the country to see the people that mean the most to me. I'm all about the experience. I pull the trigger and make decisions quickly when it comes to what I want. I may run around a lot, but the good news is that I always come HOME.
People ask me sometimes why I am the way, I am. I provided some insight into this question when my brother was interviewed in a series of interviews for Capture Your Flag. In his words, here goes:
