I was on the field at Yankee Stadium! Here's the pitcher's mound... I couldn't walk by it, without taking a picture.
Just so you can have some perspective, the concert stage was in centerfield. I stepped out behind the VIP balcony platform and spun around during the show (i.e. I think it was after Eminem and before Jay-Z). Here's my video.

ReplyDeletehi there. i'd imagine that the setup on the field differs depending on the artist and the stage set-up, so i'm extremely hesitant to provide you advice. i'm also 5'8 so somewhat taller than most people. i'm of the opinion that closer is always better for a concert. further, i prefer to sit where the artist is in front of me, as opposed to at an angle. good luck!
